Wisconsin Dells

**my stacibarrett.com domain expired - switch back to pointedandshot.blogspot.com for your readers**

At the end of July we decided to take a quick vacation to Wisconsin Dells. We stayed at Mt. Olympus which is the largest park up there. I was a little nervous about it because I wanted to stay somewhere a little less overwhelming for the kids. But we found they had these.

These were tree houses at one of their campgrounds. There were bunk beds and a queen inside as well as a microwave and mini fridge (and AC). There was no running water though and we had to use the camp showers and bathrooms.

Reagan was furious that it said "No Girls Allowed" - she wanted me to march to the front office and demand that they take the sign down.

The park had a theme park area and a water park. We did the rides first. There was a small area for kids their size and they were able to ride the go carts with us.

They loved riding the rides over and over. The go carts were a hit too. Zion was so excited to "drive" it.

We didn't get any pics at the water park, but it was perfect! They had so many areas that the kids could enjoy, even Kobe. The big kids could go down some by themselves, or on our laps. Jerime and I each took a turn going on some of the adult size rides by ourselves. The kids even like looking at the slides at the other parks from the car. At one point Reagan said "I think 'Wisconsin Dells' is Spanish for 'water park'!"

We ate at a restaurant called Buffalo Phils.

Our food was delivered by train. The kids thought that was so cool.

All in all our trip was a lot of fun (except when I accidentally assaulted a kid on a ride). We even had our breakfast randomly paid for at a Cracker Barrel one morning - holla! Can't wait to go back again!
